Went to Rocket bunny cafe some weeks back and had a blast with C zee and Kevan.Met some new people who I enjoyed talking to.Well heres some pictures.I didnt get alot because I was on my crappy phone that likes to die at 40%.

Shipping my Frs to Japan.

So I am moving back to Japan and I wanted to write a guide and general cost of shipping a car into Japan.I really cant find a guide online so here we go.First you need to find a broker.I am using ship your car now.Then you pick roro(roll on roll off) or a connex 20ft.I picked the container.Next off paper work.You need the title if you are the owner.In my case I dont own my car soo you need a notorized copy of your title and a notorized copy of lean holder autizoration.Then coordinate a date with the shipping company.To ship my car the cost is $3100.00s.Today the guys came and picked my car up.I reverted everything back to stock.The shippin company will make me send the nortarized title by fedex.so when my car gets to cali 7 days accordin to the driver

my car will get a number and prepped for shippin.It will go in a container and I will be able to track it.Soo my car wont get to japn until oct???

Update soo customs in America pulled my container for examination!!! They didnt find anything probaly wanted to steal something.Well when customs pulls ur stuff you have to pay.I payed 1,850 dollars.Thought I would pay like 500 jeez and to top it off u gotta pay the ships fee.(customs is going to pull your container no matter what!! If your not a republe shipper.The company that ships for you is going to make you send the car under your name.)

Ok another update: I got the bill of lauding which is used for customs.My car arrives on the 19th more updates and price updates later.Since the car is near here I will go into detail about what comes next in Japan: Bill of debt recived 35,000 yen.This is paid for the ship unloading fee and you need to pay this asap.Then you need to have a parking spot at your house or pay for a spot.Usally 8,000 yen a month for a plot of land owned by someone and 3,000 at your place.Next you need to apply for a sticker at the police station saying you have parking.This cost 3,000 yen plus you gotta fill out paper work(Do this after noise and emmisions test and when you make your title)Before you ship your car make sure you get the brake sheet and the emissions sheet from the dealer or your gonna pay japan 320,000 in yen about $2,900 in usa money with the current exchange rate).You have to do this even if there is the same car in Japan.

Another update:Soo Since my car is in a container I need to hire a broker to call a company with a truck and bond yard to pick my container up and take my vehicle out. When the vehicle is out I can fill out the customs declaration.Make sure when you ship you have a broker on the other end ><.Note about customs: Make sure you fill out ur customs declaration form.You need to put your car on there at Narita airport so you dont pay any tarifs since you are moving to japan it will say do you have articles not with you coming to Japan within six months.I forgot to do this sooo I have to take my jyumi shou to customs proving that I am living here so I dont get taxed on my car.They also want the sticker price of my car.(If you are coming to jpn for anything other than moving you will pay a tarif of 8%)

For the customs paperwork you need to come here if you do this by yourself.This customs office is inYokohama and the building name is called the yokohama customs clearance section. 

Ok  sooo customs needs to xray my car.Now I need a trailer to load my car and run it thru the xray then drop off my car back to the yard.(Total cost thru broker 32,000 yen for tow truck and 30,000 yen for the bond yard)

Its Thur yay so my car is at customs waiting to be x-rayed.My car was dirty as idk what!!Customs made me take out any personal effects from my vehicle and laid then out.Do not put any articles in your vehicle even if the shipper says its ok.

Annd I got my clearance stamp!This is the fun part. You need to go to the Yokohama city office and pay 750 yen for a stamp and apply for a kari numba plate( temp plate)

Well My wife printed out the JATA paper work and I went on a trip to find out how to deal with my rear plate.(If you call Jata they will guide you on hiw to fill out the annoying paper work also you will need a emissions and noise test)So in Japan they put a seal over your left screw so your plate cannot be stolen.American cars dont have screws weleded into the  trunk nor do the holes match up.I found a shop thats going to rivet a bracket for me.

Soo I have my emissions test on the 5/6 and the guy will install my plate bracket on the 6th.Talk about money rape 320,000 yen!!! My noise test is on the 11th.I should pass  I found another Fr-S blog and they said everything was fine just paperwork blows.Before we went to jata we had my car weighed it was 1250kg with the spare and a full tank of gas.I also went to pre shaken to check my horizinal on my lights and they were good!Well today my car went to Jata but I couldn't watch them test my car.They have tested my car b4(other fr-s's) and said they pass if they are not modded.Soo I get to go tomorrow   and see if my car passed the emissions test cold and warm start.No noise test until next week though on the 11th so I cannot actually do shaken yet -_- this holds up alot because after this is done I go to the lto for more paper work ie recycle fee-_- and proof of parking from the police station.After Jata we went to the LTO to pick up some paper work that blows! The paper work has you fill out every detail about your car!Your gonna need the full specs sheet.Also you need to use the date your car was manufactured on this is on your door(ie my fr-s is a 2014 model but was built on 08/2013 I need to use the 2013 date)

My car passed the emissions test.Now for the noise test  on the 11th.I also got the rear plate adapter.

I have something for the front as well my perrin plate adapter but I need another bracket for it no biggie.

Two new probs and its with lites other guy that I follow just updated his blog.So on monday Il be taking my car to my friends shop so they can make my fr-s's  side markers blink when I use my turn signals.Keep this in mind b4 u send ur vehicle here u need side markers on the fenders that blink on the fender or on the back of your mirrors.As for the parking lights its a no no in jpn and usa lights are duel filament so just go to the local store here and buy some lights.They will be single filament.Frs uses 7444 stock and eu and jpn use 7440 so a easy fix for me.

Japanese lights do not fix with out knocking the notches off.Also the Japanese lights are 12/21w and the us lights are 12v/28/8 due to running lights.Probally going to go to leds next ne ways.Good news is my side markers blink now woot so I should be good on shaken now.

Passed the noise test at 76 db.I found out from a importer that when you do the paper work its for importing ten cars .Soo I could import 9 more 2014 fr-s's this explains why the test is soo high-_-.Seems like they need to change the system for people privatly importing a vehicle.

So today on Nov 16th we braved our way to the police station for the stupid parking sticker only to be treated with come back after four days for your sticker -\-.I am sooo tired of the waiting games.Recycle fee and now parking sticker -_- bah I just want shaken to finish so I can stop going to the city office for temp plates and drive my car freely.I rekon I wont finish till the last week of Nov or the first week of Dec. Well my shaken is done.I wint go into detail because its explanitory when u get to the Lan office.Thebonly thing u need to make sure u have is the recycle fee sticker.After all of the test headlight and break test u gotta pay for weight and road tax.Weight tax I paid 30,000 yen and for road tax I paid40,000.

Couldnt find what I wanted so I bought a new car.I got another Toyota.Booo for the debt but new Car= winning!

I left japan T_T

I left japan because the us is better for my daughters disability.Plus I cant work at a eikawa with little kids.Who knos when my my kids get older i can go back.Well atm I am lookin for a job and a car.Preferably a altezza or a soarer.My 100 will be missed.

Well new life

I moved to Moriyama since my last post and got a new job.Kindof not diggin Moriyama and the car haterism here.I need to cut my tip of the muffler for being to long when in fact my car passed inspection like that.I might have to raise the rear hair or just find a autobacs that will do dome work for my car.Problem two is finding a shop that works on modded cars in shiga or Kyoto.O well heres a pic of my car just chillin at the city office.

Well I Have been busy with work and school! Somethings came thru so I will try to go to some drift events after the Mark 2 gets checked over and I get extra parts or I might just rent a drift car lmao.So I work at Tokyo american club now.The commute sucks as well as low pay.I do enjoy driving these over priced cars with their crap handling though lol.Never buy a panamera or a cayenne.Turning is very horrid and you cant see crap .Can also say benz blows but some m3 s are nice Maserati"s are nice and handle well as well as TVR.Fiats blow and alfa are ugly or should i say fugly.Oh yea ferrari ur car blows in Japan.Jags are nice if they are the older models the new ones have many blind spots.Bentley and RR are big pieces of crap.I can buy a toyota crown athlete for cheaper and pimp it out for cheaper.Sorry for ranting but im sorry rich people are dumb when it comes to buying cars.There are the smart ones who drive the audi S series gtr,nsx,sti,and evos.Oh and range rover and discos are very nice! Sorry about my rant I had to let it out! Lol

Also I have started college and Bio has been kickin my butt. I went to one job interview last weekend Tokyo American Club I think I got the job but we will see lol.So far on the Mark 2 I need a clutch>< and I need monies haha. Life sucks well GL all lol

Bad news for me

So I lost my Japanese job due to communication with my main boss.He wanted more than  basic Japanese.WTF man.Well anyways I am not giving up yet in Japan. I am still waiting on my college stuff from the VA so I can go to college.Well I haven't drove my car as of late lol broke need a job.I also met this other cat here in Japan who said he can hook me up with odd jobs while I am in college and before my term starts so i guess that's a up and I have more time with my kids lol.I will say this to people though before they intend on trying to stay in japan. Japanese companies suck. Marketing sucks and they cannot multitask><what they call common sense is not common sense for us foreigners lol. Also come here with a BA degree or higher and ur chances of landing a English teaching job twill go up from 20% to 80%. Well that's my two cents lol.

Everyone take care who does follow my blog  and I hope your life has more fortunate happenings than mine.On a side note if all else fails i am going back to the USA on the next thing smoking lol and working a GOV or some other job   then I can fund my drifting for sure lol.

OMG car is out the shop

So my car is out the shop but I still gotta wash and clean out my car. I am thinking about selling her and getting a silvia S13 preferably or a Zenki or Kouki S14.Cheaper parts and I know how to work on em better since a 180sx was my first drift car.I should learn Toyotas though lmao..I started to play around with music and I am thinking about opening my own parts shop.Later on I want to compete in D1 lol wanna be the first African American that made it in the sport.My friend is already ahead of me here.Wish i wasnt low on funds.Well the bad lol.My car had a accident at the body shop.My aftermarket Knuckle broke on the left side and we had to emergency weld my car.We replaced my knuckles with stock knuckles.Well here what was fixed when I left the body shop lol.I still have a oil leak somewhere><

Mark 2 done this sunday????

So I get a call from my friend and he tells me to come to his shop to maybe finish my mark 2.Hmm where to start I have to lower it again and I have to replace the rear rims that Kev gave me.I have to clean the bottom of the engine and check for a oil leak(maybe back in the shop but im changing shops or just will take my car to work)We are fixing the inter cooler piping and remounting my inter cooler and getting rid of the cat and putting the test pipe back on.Also Kev is taking my drift knuckles and giving me stock ones. Lol I  don't need em now lol.Maybe later when I do comps but maybe on a Nissan.

Japanese job!!!

So i gotta job working at a place called gravity auto. Usaual customers are VIP car and Van owners because we sell HIDS,LEDS,and projector lights and tvs. Pretty much car customization.Also we ship us spec cars to America and the philipines maybe in the future Japanese car exporting to china,Aus,NZ, Canada, and Europe. Sorry America only cars on the DOT list or if the car is 25 years or older><Cool thing is Its my 3rd day and I sold a BMW. Well here some pics of a customers Van

More probs found on the Mark 2. Hole in my inter cooler pipe>< near the ac part on my belt.Inter cooler needs to be re adjusted and a oil leak somewhere Roger said maybe valve spring covers or the oil cooler or.... something about camshaft cover>< we will see yay more money!!!Clean the underbelly of the car and find the culprit.Also measured my LSD today and it was fine it was a 9 yay under 10 no re shimming and I put a cover over the bearing on one half shaft because it was missing .You could tell because there was grease every where.Tomorrow I will finish bolting it on yay done maybe 1 more month of no Mark 2 lmao.Also on top of that my car has to still be registered for shaken>< I got my parking permit and my drivers license and my gaijin card^^ Hmm what else... my ac still needs to be fixed I either need to register my upper arms for shaken or change em out( I am going with register but cost 200 bucks) Also my body work was not finished still waiting on my rear bumper but I could change out my LSD.Another thing that happend that was bad was I lost my bank card><!!!!! I had to order another hopefully it doesnt take very long..

Registered the car

Well today was a long day.I registered the Mark 2 and raised it.I raised it a lil too high.The height that LA had it at was at 5 1/2 cm in the front and the rear was at 4 1/2 cm. I raised it 2 1/2 cm all around but im going to lower the rear  maybe 1/2 a cm or almost a full cm. I love hella flush but I was hella fucking up the front  bumper curse the 3 1/2 lips around here before you go up a incline.

So yesterday was interesting.Bought the mark2 pics up soon and I drove a jzx100 chaser for the first time.Mark 2 is running strong and is fast as balls!!!Gotta recharge the ac on it and needs to go to the body shop for some tlc.Hopefully I can find some nice shoes for the car^^
